Zesty Hungarian

Semi-sweet mead with lemon zest, aged on Hungarian oak.

A warm, acidic adventure. The bright bite of the lemon zest matches well with the dark chocolate or coffee notes of the Hungarian Oak to create a tug-of-war across the palate. The lemony citric acid gives this mead a distinctive bite and the oak provides a rich, warm finish. This mead is fun to drink and the acid plays well with the oak, leaving neither overbearing.

Zesty Hungarian drinks like a shandy and provides the crisp, refreshing taste that goes perfectly with warm weather. Best when chilled.

Pairs with: fish, Mediterranean cuisine, shrimp, lobster, ricotta and goat cheeses
