Semi-sweet mead with coriander, fennel, caraway, and star anise.

An earthy, warm flavor with a sharp nose. This spiced mead mixes the bright licorice notes of caraway and star anise with the light mintiness of coriander and fennel for a well-rounded and complex palate. The honey character of the mead lets the flavors play together without producing an overbearing note of licorice, and the off dry finish provides a crisp finish.

A favorite of our meadmaker, this mead is a favorite of those who enjoy rich, Belgian-style beers, pumpkin beers, or Norweigian farmhouse ales. Best served at room temperature or warm.
